New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul took to his Twitter account Tuesday to dispel rumors that he is interested in signing with the Charlotte Bobcats in the summer of 2012.

The Associated Press asked the four-time All-Star if his friendship with Michael Jordan would be enough to lure him to Charlotte next summer, when he has the option of opting out of his current contract to enter free agency.

He hasn’t yet chosen where he will sign, but LeBron James now has another platform to announce his decision when he makes it.

The superstar free agent opened an account Tuesday on the social networking site Twitter, reports the Associated Press. James’ publicist Keith Estabrook confirmed that the moniker ‘kingjames’ belongs to the forward. It is unknown whether James will post his own messages or have someone else do it for him.
