Christina Milian has a daughter, Violet, with music producer and singer The-Dream. Though motherhood makes Milian "feel so much sexier than ever before,” her brief marriage to The-Dream, real name, Terius Nash, didn’t.

She opened up to Latina Magazine calling her marriage “hell.”

"I’ve been to hell and back, but I survived," the singer, 29, said. "I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work," she continued. "But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working."

Singer Christina Milian gained 45 pounds while pregnant with her now 8-month-old daughter Violet.

Milian has since lost a significant amount of weight. So what is her weight loss secret? Her mom Carmen.

Milian was out at the Beverly Hills Xandros opening on Thursday, and when asked how she was losing the weight, she answered, “This woman!” while pointing to her mom.

The singer, 29, says, "The first month, I lost weight drastically," said Milian. "On top of that, she cooked me a lot of raw vegetables and raw salads and proteins -- and it worked! I also drank a lot of water."

Just nine days before their daughter Violet was born, The-Dream filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Christina Milian.

Just recently, there were photos shown of The-Dream with his manager at the beach. The two were very close and holding each other. The-Dream then claimed that his marriage was over in late 2009 to cover up for the photos.

Earlier this week, Christina Milian and The Dream announced they were separated. The two were married last September and reportedly separated late last year, but they did not announce any negativities in their relationship until March, after their daughter Violet was born.

On The Dream’s website, he posted a letter to his fans titled “In My Own Words” earlier this week in which he said he wouldn’t address the reasons of the split in his statement.
