Jimmy Fallon Accused of Sexual Discrimination

The Suit is not what you would expect it to be.

Jimmy Fallon, host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and SML alum is being hit with a sexual discrimination lawsuit. The case may not be what you expect it to be, a man is suing Fallon.

Former stage manager Paul Tarasico filed a complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State Division of Human Rights. He claims that he was demoted and eventually fired because he was a man. Tarascio previously worked for Conan O’Brien before the blow up with him and Jay Leno.

Conan to Move in With Fox?

It seems, after his battle with NBC, that late-night host Conan O’Brien is getting in with Fox network. Since his last show on Jan. 22, NBC has removed all photos and videos of O’Brien from their website, leaving many to wonder where he went.

It seems that after weeks of talking with the Fox network, O’Brien will be settling down with them but no specifics have been listed. Neither Fox nor anyone from O’Brien’s camp will divulge anything but generalities.

Final Round in Late Night Fight?

Jay Leno and Conan O'Brian square off for TV spots.

For those following the NBC/ Jay Leno/ Conan O’Brian situation, an agreement seems in sight between the network and O’Brian. What seems to be the deal so far according to ABCNews.com is that O’Brian would leave NBC with a severance payment between $30 and $40 million and go to another network, allowing Leno to reclaim his late night spot. The “Tonight Show” staff, many of whom came with O’Brian from New York, would get severance and contract buy-out packages. As to where O’Brian will end up is still up in the air, though News Corp., owner of Fox, has been the most vocal.

The End to NBC’s Experiment

While the question of late night is still up in the air since NBC’s announcement that Jay Leno would no longer be at 10 p.m., part of the schedule has been organized. In place of “The Jay Leno Show” there will be “Law & Order”, Jerry Seinfeld’s crime, marriage comedy series, and the family drama “Parenthood”. Though while this part of the schedule is set, there has been nothing else confirmed about what NBC is planning to do with its late night lineup.
