'Cougar Town' gets Valentine's Day premiere date

Fans of Courteney Cox’s Cougar Town have been awaiting a premiere date since last season ended, and it seems as if ABC has finally given them their wish.

Valentine’s Day will be the day Cox and friends will return to the small screen, at 8:30 p.m.

‘Work It!’ pulled from ABC schedule, ‘Cougar Town’ not announced as replacement

After just two episodes, ABC has pulled its cross-dressing sitcom, Work It!, from its schedule. However, Cougar Town fans should not immediately rejoice, since ABC still hasn’t announced if it would replace the show full-time.

Zap2It reported Friday that ABC made the announcement, adding that repeats of Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing would air in its place for the last two Wednesdays in January.

ABC makes changes to 'Cougar Town'

ABC has decided to cut down on the number of episodes for Cougar Town for the 2012 midseason.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the network will reduce the number of episodes from 22 to 15. The move does not mean that the show, which features Courteney Cox, will be canceled. Sources close to the situation say that the decision is part of "managing the inventory."

Looks like Modern Family, Happy Endings and Suburgatory are more than enough funny for ABC.

Entertainment Weekly reported the network is cutting back on episodes for Cougar Town's third season.

Instead of 22 episodes, Courtney Cox's show will only have 15 episodes.
