It has almost been ten years since Monster. She has had some missteps (*cough* Aeon Flux *cough*) since her Oscar win but Charlize Theron is still a revelation. On the surface, this might seem like a cakewalk to play. A hot, thirty-something returns to her hometown to retrieve her old flame. Diablo Cody broke into the screenwriting business with 2007's humorously awkward and critically acclaimed Juno, but now she'll be adding "director" to her resume.

Screenwriter Diablo Cody wrote about it in her Oscar-winning screenplay, 2007’s Juno, and now it’s happened for her in real life. The former stripper and current screenwriter gave birth to her first child on Tuesday, reports MSNBC.

                    Diablo Cody's latest screenplay "Young Adult" has gone into production with Mandate Pictures.         

        




Ever since the release of the Oscar award winning Juno, Diablo Cody has become one of the most sought after screenwriters in Hollywood. With lines such as “he is the cheese to my macaroni” and “you’re lime green jello and you can’t even admit it to yourself,” the ex-stripper who took home the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay has come up with some of the most charming and quirky characters to be seen on screen in recent years.
