First Lady Michelle Obama has bested Ellen DeGeneres in a push-up competition for the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday. The episode is scheduled to air on Thursday.

Taped in Los Angeles, the First Lady spoke with DeGeneres to promote her "Let's Move!" campaign which encourages physical activity for children to fight obesity. ABC News says Mrs. Obama works out more than one and a half hours each day, mixing cardio, weight lifting and plyo-metric exercises to keep up her fierce bod.

Aerosmith rocker and American Idol judge was one of the many celebrities to get engaged over the holidays, and now he’s speaking out about what drew him to his fiance after they met.

"She had on this hair band on around her head," he said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs Tuesday, People reports. "She looked really old-fashioned, so I took her back in the room and she tied me up with it and I thought, 'I'm marrying this girl.' "

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has been hoping to get Brad Pitt’s Malibu mansion and now it looks like she got her wish. DeGeneres and wife, Arrested Development star Portia De Rossi, purchased the $12 million home Friday.

Perez Hilton first reported that DeGeneres had her eye on the place last month after it was revealed that they were selling their home.
