Dido and her husband Rohan Garvin welcomed their child in July at London’s Portland Hospital. The couple took the holidays as the best time to announce the name of their child. Singer and songwriter Dido named her first child, Stanley. The name was just released to the press over the holidays.

Dido's, "Thank You," lyrics took the place of a chorus on the Eminem single, "Stan." Dido collaborated with Eminem on the single, "Stan."

British singer Dido revealed that she gave birth to her fist child, Stanley, back in July when she wrote on her Facebook page that she was excited for his first Christmas.

Saturday, Dido wrote to her fans that, “I wanted to wish you all a very happy christmas. I'm ridiculously excited about stanley's first christmas this year! :) Hope you all have a brilliant one and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in 2012... Love, didoxx.”

When it comes to rap music, 2011 has been the year of Eminem. In 2011 Eminem's Recovery album broke records. Eminem’s single “Love the Way You Lie,” was named Eminem's most successful single of all time. The Detroit rapper even sold out two concerts in Detroit and New York. With all of this success, Eminem is back on top of the rap world but the rapper does not seem to need money because Eminem recently turned down a six million dollar paycheck.

Eminem receives many complaints from fans over audio quality at latest concert

Eminem recently took to the stage in Australia to perform and did not receive high compliments from his fans after the show ended. It appears that the audio quality of the show was very poor and made it hard for fans to hear.

Perez Hilton reported that fans are outraged over the concert. Many fans are asking for their money back, some even saying they would have walked out of the concert if they had not waited so long to see the Detroit rapper perform.

'Love The Way You Lie' named Eminem's most successful single


Detroit’s own Eminem is no stranger to success with hits like, “The Real Slim Shady,” “Stan,” and “Lose Yourself,” but his single, “Love the Way You Lie,” featuring Rihanna has been named the rappers most successful song to date.

According to The West Australian, the Recording Industry Association of America has certified the song as Eminem’s biggest hit in his 12-year career. The single has sold over 5 million copies.

Lil Wayne cancels shows


Hip-Hop superstar Lil Wayne has canceled multiple shows in Australia and has added shows in Africa. The performances in Australia will not be rescheduled according to a representative for Wayne.

Chrysler not using Eminem in new commercial

When the Super Bowl advertisements aired last year during the big game, one that stood out among the rest was the Chrysler “Imported from Detroit,” commercial which featured rap artist and Detroit native, Eminem. This year during the Thanksgiving Day football match up between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions, Chrysler will be airing a new “Imported From Detroit,” commercial, which will not be featuring the rap superstar.
