The designer is a celeb-favorite in Hollywood, with the likes of Shannen Doherty and Vanessa Minnillo walking down the aisle in her gowns, which range from $3,000 to $20,000.

According to Yahoo! OMG!, a pal of Simpson told Us that the first-time mother-to-be is “very, very excited about the pregnancy. Family is a really important thing to her.”

The insider also verified that the nuptials were initially planned to happen this month, but are now being postponed.

Reuters reported the 31-year-old teased fans with a suggestive Twitter comment Friday.

"!!!ANNOUNCEMENT!!!" she wrote, adding a link to a post on her website that said, "It's true—I am going to be a mummy."

Below the message was a photo of her dressed as a mummy holding her belly Beyonce VMA 2011 style.
