Scott Baio to star in Nick at Nite’s ‘Daddy’s Home’

Nick at Nite is now expanding into more than just repeats of classic shows. The network has picked up its first original live-action show since 1991, by greenlighting Daddy’s Home, a sitcom starring Happy Days actor Scott Baio.

'Happy Days' suit tossed out

The claim filed by cast members of the series Happy Days in April was thrown out of court Wednesday.

The cast filed the $10 million suit against CBS, claiming the network violated breach of contract and owed them for merchandising revenues. The actors claimed they were guaranteed five percent of royalties for the use of their images.
