Frank Potenza, a former police officer who appeared in comedy segments as “Uncle Frank” on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, passed away early Tuesday of unknown causes at the age of 77.

Potenza, Kimmel’s real-life uncle, served as a police officer in New York City for roughly two decades and became a private security guard in Las Vegas and Manhattan before being asked by the late-night talk show host to move to Los Angeles.

Britney Spears might have just lost a tour-mate in Enrique Iglesias, but she once again got a chance to show off her comedienne skills when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Spears was the musical guest, but she did a skit with Kimmel before Johnny Knoxville came out to talk to the late-night host.

Kimmel went down to visit the “Hold it Against Me” singer in her dressing room, where the pop star asked, “Did you get it?” Kimmel answered, "I did get it."

On Monday night, guests of Jimmy Kimmel Live got an outlandish surprise when Charlie Sheen busted out onto the set in the middle of the late night talk show host’s interview with Mark Cuban, a potential business partner of Sheen’s.

Upon the ousted Two and a Half Men actor’s arrival, he gave Cuban a big hug and Kimmel, much to the audience’s surprise, a wet one right on the lips.
