Lily Collins creates a modern Snow White in 'Mirror, Mirror'

While everyone believes they know the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the new take on the classic tale about to hit theaters will be completely different. Lily Collins, who plays Snow White, in the new movie Mirror Mirror, explains to fans that her character is different than she is in the classic Snow White tale.

Collins, working aside Julia Roberts who plays the Evil Queen, creates a more modernized Snow White scenario.

Tony-Award winning stage show to become big screen movie

Julia Roberts and Alec Baldwin are the newest stars to sign on to the Tony Award-winning drama, A Normal Heart.

The stage show which is about the beginnings of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, will be adapted into a big screen movie. This is the latest project for Glee creator, Ryan Murphy, who already has an all-star cast set.

In addition to Roberts and Baldwin, White Collar's Matt Bomer, The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons, and Mark Ruffalo are all set to begin filming.

Actress Julia Roberts is set to return to the comedy genre as the star and producer of an upcoming film.

The film, entitled Second Act, is currently being developed by Fox, New Regency and the actress’s production company, Red Om. It will star Roberts as a woman who is forced to enter the work environment, despite having no prior employment. She will produce the movie with Trudie Styler, Lisa Gillan and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas.

A director and writer have yet to be attached to the project.

Lily Collins may be out for some revenge in her upcoming Snow White movie, and it’s not against the wicked queen.

Celebuzz reported the Mirror, Mirror star originally tried for Kristen Stewart’s role in rival fairy tale flick Snow White and the Huntsman.

Relatively Media’s untitled Snow White movie starring Lily Collins in the lead role finally has a name.

CBS News reports the Tarsem Singh-directed film, starring Collins as the exile princess who enlists the help of seven dwarfs to overthrow the Evil Queen, played by Julia Roberts, has been titled Mirror Mirror.
