Tuesday, Warner Bros. rocked the Internet with the first trailer for Rock of Ages, the new film by Hairspray director Adam Shankman. It is an adaptation of the Tony-nominated Broadway hit and stars Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta, who play an aspiring actress and an aspiring rock star, respectively.

Rep for the former 'Dancing with the Stars' pro denies rumors of a romance between the two

Julianne Hough locks lips onscreen with her costar Kenny Wormald in Footloose but the kissing stopped there.

“It’s all completely untrue,” Hough’s publicist told People magazine of rumors that the dancing duo are romantically involved off-screen as well.

Re-make of 'Footloose' leads to mixed feelings

Re-makes of movies from the past never seem to do the original movie justice. The acting is better, the staging is better, the feel in general just seems to be better. It is not surprise that fans of the original movie Footloose are having mixed emotions about the re-make that will star Dancing with the Stars veteran Julianne Hough and newcomer Kenny Wormald.
