Worth the Watch: 'A Dangerous Method'

A Dangerous Method, directed by David Cronenberg, is a film exploring the relationship between the fledgeling psychiatrist Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender) and his mentor Sigmund Freud (Viggo Mortensen) when a patient called Sabina Spielrein (Keira Knightley) becomes something more than just a study. The work Jung and Freud are conducting gets thrown into disarray when the beautiful Sabina is taken as their subject. Freud sees her as he sees any other of his patients, keeping a professional emotional distance from her, but Jung begins to feel something more for this troubled girl.

Keira Knightley's new movie A Dangerous Method premiered Friday at the Venice Film Festival, where her acting was a common topic among the many critics.

A Dangerous Method by David Cronenberg is about the friendship between Sigmund Freud (Viggo Mortensen) and Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender) and Sabina (Knightley), the student/patient that came in between that friendship.

A Friend for the End of the World has Carell traveling across the country looking for his high school love after it is revealed that an asteroid is hitting earth.

Looks like Steve Carell is already keeping himself busy following his departure from The Office. The actor is set to star in an action-romance movie called Seeking A Friend For the End of the World.

The movie is about an approaching doomsday and a man who is searching for his high school sweetheart after his wife leaves. Actress Keira Knightley is in talks to co-star as Carell's character's neighbor, who goes with him on the road trip.

Jude Law Being Considered for ‘Anna Karenina’

The British actor could be making this one of his projects.

Jude Law currently has plans to once again return to the London stage. The actor earned rave reviews when he played the title role in Hamlet in 2009. However, there is also recent news pertaining to his movie career. Law is apparently in talks to act in Anna Karenina.

Just Jared reports that Law is in talks to be in the film, though has not officially signed on. Keira Knightley and Aaron Johnson will also star in the film.

It’s seems that it’s not quite a happy ending for Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth, or not for the actors who played them at least.

Keira Knightley and her longtime boyfriend Rupert Friend have broken up after five years together. The couple met on the set of the most recent Pride and Prejudice film in which she played Elizabeth Bennet and he played Mr. Wickam.

Knightley and Friend had been living together in London, and Knightley’s father confirmed that the pair had indeed gone their separate ways.
