Stage collapses at Indiana State Fair, kills four

Right before Sugarland was about to take the stage, the wind blew it over, killing members in the audience.

Four people were left dead Saturday night when severe weather knocked down a stage into the crowd of fans at the Indiana State Fair.

The victim rate reached 43, along with some walk-in patients, because of the collapse, according to CNN.

"A big gust of wind came through. You could see a lot of people panicking,” said Aaron Richman, a witness. “All the scaffolding and speakers -- all that came crashing down -- and the whole stand just collapsed."

‘Jackass’ star Ryan Dunn killed in car accident

Ryan Dunn, the daredevil and reality television personality who was best known as a member of MTV’s Jackass crew, was killed early Monday morning in a car crash that occurred in Pennsylvania. He was 34.

Dunn and an unidentified passenger died at roughly 3:00 a.m. at Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township, TMZ confirms. Their vehicle reportedly went ablaze in the accident.

Cali Swag District rapper M-Bone, born Montae Talbert, was the victim of a drive-by shooting in his hometown of Inglewood, California late Sunday night.

Bone, a member of a rap group best known for releasing their platinum single, 2010’s “Teach Me How to Dougie,” received two gunshot wounds to the head at 11:32 p.m. The rapper’s death was confirmed by Inglewood Police Department Homicide Sgt. Brian Spencer, according to MTV News.

Singer-songwriter Eddie Kirkland, known as the “Gypsy of the Blues,” was killed in Florida when he attempted to make a U-turn in front of a Greyhound bus at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Kirkland, who died after being flown to Tampa General Hospital, was 88. Kirkland is survived by his wife and nine children, according to Spinner.

Airport Accident Kills John Travolta’s Dogs

An airport service vehicle ran over and killed two dogs belonging to John Travolta.

The accident occurred around 1 a.m. last Thursday morning at Bangor International Airport in Maine. City officials confirmed the incident to the Bangor Daily News today.

A plane carrying members of the Travolta family had just landed. Someone not related to the family was walking the two small dogs when a pickup approaching to service the plane did not see the dogs in time to avoid them, according to Bangor Daily News.
