Hillary Scott will probably be writing a lot more love songs now, because she has tied the knot.
2011 was the year of Adele, but country music made a lasting impression when it came to music in 2011. Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts and Lady Antebellum all landed on the top of album charts in 2011.
The top three songs on the country charts this week all come from Georgia acts. The Zac Brown Band has garnered its third number one song on the country charts with “Keep Me in Mind.”
This weekend’s premiere episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by actor Alec Baldwin with Radiohead as musical guest, reaped decent ratings for NBC, but it was slightly down from last year’s premiere.

Lady Antebellum will defend their CMA Vocal Group of the Year against some familiar faces.
The Nashville trio will compete with The Band Perry, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band. All this year's nominees were nominated for the award last year.
Lady Antebellum are preparing to release their newest album, Own The Night.
On Tuesday they released a 30-second preview of the single "Love I've Found In You."
