After much buzz over Matthew Broderick’s Super Bowl commercial revival of Ferris Bueller, the entire ad has finally been released.

E! Online reported Honda, who created the commercial, released the entire clip Monday.

Over the weekend, the Internet was buzzing about the 10-second teaser for a Super Bowl ad that featured Matthew Broderick possibly reprising his role in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Originally, many thought it might be a teaser for a full Ferris Bueller 2 sequel, but then a report revealed that it could be a Honda ad. Monday, Honda officially posted an extended, two-and-a-half minute version of the commercial on YouTube.

Friday, it was reported that a mysterious YouTube video featuring actor Matthew Broderick reprising his role in the hit 1986 film, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, was uploaded Thursday. The video appeared to be a teaser for a commercial to run during the Super Bowl on February 5. Shortly after the Internet exploded with people wondering what the ad would be for, a site that covers car news reported that it is likely for Honda.

We have already seen one teaser for a Super Bowl advertisement, but it was pretty clear who was behind that one. Now, a new preview was mysteriously uploaded on YouTube Thursday, showing Matthew Broderick possibly reprising his role in the classic 1986 John Hughes film, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. The ten-second clip did not show what company it was meant to promote and it was not uploaded by any particular company’s YouTube account.
