After being closed nearly four years, the invesitation is being revisited

Portland police decided to reopen former Vice President Al Gore’s sex abuse case Wednesday after it had been closed for four years.

Law enforcement sources reported that Portland District Attorney Michael Schrunk ordered the case be reopened after the department received public criticism for how it handled the investigation, which had initially been dismissed due to “insufficient evidence,” according to ABC News.

On Wednesday night, it was reported that authorities will be re-opening a sexual assault investigation involving former Vice President Al Gore, who recently separated from his wife of 40 years, Tipper. 54-year-old massage therapist from Portland, Oregon, Molly Hagerty, alleges that Gore inappropriately groped her and made unwanted sexual contact with her during a hotel visit in 2006.
