Taylor Swift offered to join cast of 'Les Miserables'

After a long audition process and beating out some hard competition, Taylor Swift has landed the role of Éponine in the big-screen musical adaptation of Les Misérables. Swift will have to take a break from her music career in order to film the musical adaptation.

Entertainment Weekly reported that the country music star will be joining the cast of Les Misérables.

Reeve Carney from 'Spider-Man' musical cast as Jeff Buckley in biopic

Reeve Carney, the star of the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, has landed the lead role in yet another movie about the musician, Jeff Buckley.

According to MTV News, the film is still untitled but is set to begin production this November.

Oscar winning movie hits Broadway

'Rocky' movie to become Broadway musical

In 1976, director John G. Avildson created a movie of passion and triumph: Rocky.

The sports drama film followed Rocky Balboa on a story about a man turning his American dream from rags to riches.

Now, the Oscar winning movie will appear on Broadway!

According to Playbill, the musical will be based on the original Academy Award-winning Rocky movie.

"It was made to be a musical," librettist Thomas Meehan said. It's got all the elements."
