Not only has childhood obesity become a national crisis in the United States, but new studies prove that rise may contribute to the influx of common cold viruses.
Children who have naturally succumbed to the American casualty, are more than likely to become affected with the common cold than any other peer group.
In a researched case study involving 124 youths, there were 15 obese children who were given antibodies for the illness known as AD36 - a strain for the common cold. It also shows a significantly larger increase compared to four average-sized children.
