On Friday, Mel Gibson and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva settled their long-running legal battle.

Very little details were released, but it is known that deals for both the financial and custody issues were reached, according to CBS News.

Mel Gibson's attorney has requested custody of their child after Grigorieva allegedly claimed Gibson used to beat her during sex.

TMZ reported that Oksana Grigorieva made an explosive allegation under oath Tuesday that actor Mel Gibson used to beat her during sex.

The testimony — which wasn’t reported to the L.A. County Sheriff’s department before, during her multiple interviews — states that Gibson allegedly had problems performing, and the way he got aroused with her was by beating her.

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have been battling court over exactly how much money Mel makes and how much money he should give to Oksana for child support. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Mel says that during the period of August 2009 to August 2010, he made $7.2 million. However, Oksana alleges in her legal documents that Mel told her that he made well over $40 million in 2009.

Despite Mel Gibson’s legal issues and distorted public image after a string of life-changing episodes, good friend Jodie Foster maintains that he is still “the most loved man in the film business."

People reports that Foster, 47, is confirming Gibson’s cameo in the sequel to The Hangover, and expresses her excitement that he will be involved.

Grigorieva reportedly accused Timothy Dalton of abuse, but never took legal action

Mel Gibson isn’t the only actor who has been hit with domestic abuse charges from Oksana Grigorieva.

Actor Timothy Dalton, an ex-boyfriend of Grigorieva’s, was accused of the same abusive conduct Grigorieva is alleging against Gibson, TMZ reports.

However, unlike Gibson – Dalton was never legally accused of abusive behavior.

Grigorieva never filed any legal action against Dalton for domestic abuse or any other form of abuse.
