Dempsey Challenge raises $1 million for cancer

A net value of $1 million was raised for Patrick Dempsey's cancer center at his third annual bike run this past weekend in Maine.

Nearly 4,000 people were involved in this charitable effort to raise money for the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. The Grey's Anatomy star founded the cancer center in 2008.

Rumors circled the internet, but it doesn't seem to be true.

After rumors stampeded the internet about Patrick Dempsey leaving the cast of Grey’s Anatomy, it turns out that might not actually be the case.

When Dempsey told Italy’s Vanity Fair that the upcoming season of Grey’s was “gonna be his last,” fans were devastated (and understandably so!)

But thankfully, it seems like Dr. McDreamy just used a poor choice of words.

Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey decided to try something other than acting for his new film, Flypaper. The film is a comedy about a bank robbery, and Patrick Dempsey was one of its producers. It stars Dempsey as well as Ashley Judd and Tim Blake Nelson.

NPR reports that while Dempsey was promoting the film at the Sundance Film Festival this week, he described his experience as producers as “painful.” He also claimed that there were days when he “didn’t want to show up.”

Though featuring an impressive cast, the romance flick fails to develop key plot issues

In case you're still on the fence about seeing Valentine's Day, here are some interesting points that you should know about. Be prepared for a few plot spoilers.

First of all, the film clearly focused too much on the number of stars that they cast rather than developing the plot. There were at least 15 big named stars in the two-hour movie, so if you do that math, that doesn't equal a lot of screen time for most of the people.

Sidney Prescott returns for (what was then) the final chapter of the Scream Trilogy.

After the Woodsboro and Windsor College murders, Sidney has placed herself into isolation. She lives high up in the hills with no neighbor for miles, a gate that requires a code for entry, a house with alarm system and multiple locks on each door, and a golden retriever named Cherokee. She works remotely (by phone only) for women’s crisis counseling, and everyone she works with knows her as Laura from Monterey.
