Actress Jennifer Hudson revealed that she turned down a role in the film Precious (2009).

Hudson made the revelation in her upcoming book I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down. She was offered the role of a pregnant girl who is abused by her mother, played by Mo’Nique, who won an Oscar for her performance in the film.

The Oscar winner’s late night talk show has been shelved.

Stand up comedienne and actress Mo’Nique’s late night talk show on BET has been placed on indefinite hiatus.

The show, which premiered in October of 2009 with great fanfare, featured a variety of ethnically and culturally diverse guests and entertainers, reports HollywoodReporter.com.

Elle Magazine is being put in the hot seat, due to their cover featuring 27-year old Precious actress, Gabourey Sidibe.

CBS News reports that Sidibe was put on the cover of the magazine in conjunction with three other stars -- Lauren Conrad, Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried – as they were picked to be the four cover girls in October to mark Elle Magazine’s 25th anniversary.

Furthermore, the issue is dedicated to 25 "Most Notable Women Under 25,” although Sidibe is 27.

"I love being happy. I'm not Precious," said Sidibe during her monologue. "Movies are not real life. That's something you should know," she sang. She added, "Mariah Carey doesn't have a mustache."

MTV thought she did a good job of differentiating herself from her character.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are the proud parents of a new baby boy, Julian Fuego. The child was born on Tuesday in Los Angeles, California. This is the first child for the R&B singer and his wife, Precious actress.

The singer canceled his portion of Tuesday’s show at the Staples Center for “personal reasons.” However, his “Freedom Tour” mate, Alicia Keys, broke the news from the stage.

The couple, Thicke, 34 and Patton, 32, will celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary this June, but have been dating since high school.
