A rather slow week in television has still brought us some interesting things, with A&E network announcing the second season of its show Beyond Scared Straight. The show sends several young boys to prison for a season and watches how they respond to prison life. It’s really trying to help turn their lives into something more positive as many of the young men have committed petty crimes and are headed down a dangerous path. The show teaches lessons and entertains.

A Season 9 winner of Project Runway has been chosen.

Heidi Klum and fellow judges narrowed it down to four finalists, Viktor Luna, Joshua McKinley, Kimberly Goldson and Anya Ayoung-Chee. The hopefuls had a $9,000 budget and four week’s time to create a line to show at New York’s Fashion Week.

People reports that Ayoung-Chee reigned supreme, which was shown on Thursday’s finale on Lifetime.

Kirstie Alley recently told Entertainment Tonight that she has lost 100 pounds since her appearance on Dancing With the Stars. She claims that she can now fit into a size 4.

Before Dancing with the Stars, I bought these dresses from size 14 to 4... all the same dress, and I said, 'You know what I really want? I really wanna be in this dress in a 4," Alley said, according to Radar Online.

‘Project Runway’ designers unleash their creativity in the unconventional challenge.

Last week, the judges picked the top contenders and sent the first designer home. This week, the designers were challenged to design an outfit with materials purchased at a pet store. Tim warned the designers to stay away from fabrics, like pet beds and fabric toys, because the judges would reward points based on creative use of the unconventional.
