Bob Barker and PETA speak out against SeaWorld

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, abbreviated as PETA, released an ad Wednesday that shows Bob Barker condemning SeaWorld. It will air during Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Barker was the long-time game show host of The Price is Right. At the end of the show, he often reminded viewers not to buy fur and to have their pets spayed or neutered.

In the ad, Barker says, “Life in cramped tanks is no prize for orcas and dolphins. They want to be free with their families in the ocean.”

Anti-Gay Westboro Baptist Church Plans to Protest Elizabeth Taylor’s Funeral

The Westboro Baptist Church is threatening to picket the funeral of Elizabeth Taylor.

According to TMZ, Margie Phelps, daughter of Westboro Baptist Church pastor Fred Phelps, announced that the church is going to picket Liz’s funeral. She explained herself by saying that Liz was a gay “enabler” and an AIDS activist.

Kenneth Cole Tweets Offensive Comment Involving Cairo Protest

The fashion retailer offended many of the Twitter community.

At around 10am EST, someone from the company sent a tweet using the skirmishes in Cairo to promote a new line of clothing, according to ABC News.

The tweet read, “Millions are in uproar in #Cairo. Rumor is they heard our new spring collection is now available online at http://bit.ly/KCairo - KC.” In a breech of etiquette, the tweet used the #Cairo hashtag intended to make information on the events easier to find.

The planned animated show is about the troubles and tribulations of Jesus Christ in his youth, according to the New York Daily News. It depicts Jesus enjoying life in the city after rebuffing God.
