Corwin was described as radio’s unofficial poet laureate for his semi-documentaries.

Actor Alec Baldwin is making rants about public radio, despite his announcement for launching a podcast on New York’s WNYC radio.

Baldwin’s rants have been airing for about a month and have reached stations like WNYC and KPCC in Los Angeles.

“Hello, this is Alec Baldwin from television,” he begins. “You’ve heard of TV -- the dominant broadcast medium of our age.”

Laura Ingraham accepts Ed Schultz's apology

The battle between Laura Ingraham and Ed Schultz came to a halt on Thursday when Ingraham accepted Schultz’s apology and indirectly disagreed with MSNBC’s decision to suspend Schultz.

After Schultz called Ingraham a “right-wing slut” and a “talk slut” on his radio show on Tuesday, MSNBC condemned him to one week unpaid leave. But on Wednesday, he apologized to her on MSNBC TV, saying he was “deeply sorry” and asked for her forgiveness.

MSNBC.com reported that he tried to call Ingraham, but received no response.

Flo Rida's looking to drop a sequel album

Rapper and Top 40 mainstay Flo Rida is ready to release part 2 of his current album Only One Flo (Part 1) before the summer season.

According to Billboard, the rapper explained, "Having my name broken into two parts, Flo and Rida, I was thinking it would be great to do a double disc or something of that nature."
