No longer on television since being fired by Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. from Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen is still the highest paid actor on television. In fact, five of the top ten highest paid actors are no longer on television.

'Men of a Certain Age' cancelled

The TNT show starring Ray Romano is being taken off the air.

After two seasons, the TNT show, Men of a Certain Age, has been cancelled.

The news comes a day after co-star on the show Andre Braugher scored a second Emmy nomination.

The drama, which starred Ray Romano and Mike Royce, was sinking in low ratings. In the second half of season 2, the show averaged a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49.

‘Men of a Certain Age’ cancelled

TNT has decided to cancel Men of a Certain Age after it failed to secure high ratings.

Entertainment Weekly reports the network as saying, “TNT has been proud to be a part of Men of a Certain Age for two seasons. While the show has featured great storytelling and impeccable performances, the audience simply hasn’t built to the point where we can continue the series. This was an extremely difficult decision for us.”

The list of potential replacements for Michael Scott once he leaves Dunder Mifflin has grown by three. Men of a Certain Age star Ray Romano, Doctor Who star Catherine Tate and Boston Legal star James Spader will all be making an appearance on the finale.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the trio of stars will be joining Will Ferrell, Ricky Gervais, and Will Arnett on the season finale as possible replacements for Steve Carell.
