20th Century Fox desperately wanted to release McG’s This Means War, the action-romance film starring Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and Reese Witherspoon, on Valentine’s Day as a PG-13 film, but the studio’s appeal to get that rating to the MPAA failed.

Reese Witherspoon to star in Memphis 3 movie

Actress Reese Witherspoon is set to star in an upcoming movie about the West Memphis Three killings.

The film, titled The Devil’s Knot, will be distributed by Dimension Films, which had developed the project for years.

Forbes did the calculations and found that producers are spending too much on these actors

Drew Barrymore and Eddie Murphy have been named Hollywood’s most overpaid actors.

Forbes reported that Eddie Murphy returns just $2.70 for every dollar he earns, and Drew Barrymore just 44 cents for every dollar she earns.

To put this into perspective, Forbes said Nicole Kidman, who is 10th on the list, returns $6.70 for every dollar she earns.

The trailer for McG’s This Means War, which stars Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, was released Thursday.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film features Pine and Hardy as the best CIA agents who are friends, but happen to be dating the same girl, played by Witherspoon. The two have a competition over her, which includes explosively sabotaging each other’s dates with her. Chelsea Handler plays Witherspoon’s friend.

What’s the one thing that could turn to of the CIA’s best spies against each other? A girl of course! And not just any girl; this girl will be played by none other than America’s sweetheart, as the director calls her: Reese Witherspoon.

In the new movie This Means War, Witherspoon’s character is dating two guys. Lucky for her, but the problem is that these two guys happen to be partners in the CIA. When partners, played by Tom Hardy and Chris Pine, learn they are both in love with the same girl, all hell breaks loose.
