Theater owners slam Sony’s decision to not pay them for 3D glasses

This morning, Sony Pictures announced that they would no longer pay theater owners for the RealD 3D glasses starting May 1, 2012. Theater owners were quick to criticize the move, lead by The National Association of Theater Owners, targeting the fact that the studio did not negotiate with them before making the sudden announcement.
