It has only been over two hours since the battle between the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots began their battle for the AFC title, and ultimately the decider of who will head to the Super Bowl. However, it is neither team that is being critiqued right now. Instead, American Idol judge and Aerosmith front man, Steven Tyler, is being criticized for his rendition of the National Anthem.

Aerosmith rocker and American Idol judge was one of the many celebrities to get engaged over the holidays, and now he’s speaking out about what drew him to his fiance after they met.

"She had on this hair band on around her head," he said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs Tuesday, People reports. "She looked really old-fashioned, so I took her back in the room and she tied me up with it and I thought, 'I'm marrying this girl.' "
