Crew member died on set of 'G.I. Joe' sequel

Even G.I. Joe couldn’t save this one.

The Washington Post reported a crew member working on the sequel to G.I. Joe, Retaliation, died after an accident on the New Orleans set.

Paramount Pictures confirmed the death, which occurred when the high-powered scissors lift the unidentified worker was operating fell down and killed him.

Sylvester Stallone is branching his famous Rocky franchise into the theater. The 1976 Best Picture Oscar winner that spawned five sequels will premiere as a musical in Hamburg, Germany in November 2012.

Stallone to enter 'The Tomb'

Sylvester Stallone has announced the long-delayed film The Tomb as his next project.

Stallone will play Ray Breslin, an expert on the structural security of prisons. He later utilizes that knowledge when he’s framed for a crime and escapes a high security prison. He then attempts to find out to put him there.

Stuntman dies on the set of ‘Expendables 2’

Two other stuntmen were injured in the accident

A stuntman was killed during the filming of an explosion by the second-unit for The Expendables 2. The accident happened at a water reservoir near the capitol of Bulgaria, Sofia, where the film is being shot.

According to Sofia News Agency, the accident also injured two other stuntmen. Authorities were able to confirm that the man died and that they are investigating the incident, which involved a fake bomb exploding a rubber boat.

Anyone who is looking for a reunion between Sylvester Stallone and Mr. T isn't going to get one -- supposedly.

The Sun started rumors last week after the recent success of Expendables that Stallone would try to add Mr. T, The Rock, Vin Diesel, and other action stars to a potential sequel.
