T.I.'s first novel published

After his release from custody in September, T.I. announced that he had a novel in the works.

His novel, Power & Beauty: A Love Story of Life on the Streets, was released on Tuesday by publisher Harper Collins.

Rapper T.I. made a surprise appearance at the Scream Tour on Friday.

According to the Washington Post, the Grammy-winning rapper appeared on stage after his stepdaughter, Zonnique, performed with members of her group, OMG Girlz. The group is one of several acts that will be on tour, which also includes performances by Diggy Simmons, Hamilton Park, Mindless Behavior, and Jacob Latimore and New Boyz.

The rapper has just completed an 11-month prison sentence

Rapper T.I. was released from custody on Thursday, after completing an 11-month stint in prison.

The No Mercy rapper appeared at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards on Saturday night at the Atlanta Civic Center, an event that will be aired on October 11.

Mike Epps hosted the show, with some help from Da Brat. However, T.I. stole the spotlight with his triumphant return to music.

According to MTV News, the rapper opened the show with Young Jeezy, performing the new single “F.A.M.E.”

T.I. was released from his Atlanta halfway house Thursday, and the rapper didn't skip a beat.

The Washington Post reported T.I. made a surprise appearance in Augusta, Georgia at the Scream Tour Friday night.

Rapper T.I. was just released from prison early earlier this week. He was transported to halfway house upon his release, however, new reports are surfacing that he is back in federal custody.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed this news to TMZ, but would not disclose any details regarding the matter.

T.I. will star in VH1 reality show

Following his release from prison, T.I. will star in a VH1 reality show that focuses on his post-prison life.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the ten-episode series will begin on December 5 at 10 p.m. It will center on the rapper's life after he served time in jail for a 2008 weapons conviction. It will also follow his journey to return to the recording studio.
