Top Chef

The Top Chef host is mourning the loss of her longtime boyfriend.

Matthew, Chris, and Sally were the final three and they celebrated at the apartment. Matthew knew that he was great at what he does. Chris called his wife and got an update from her and her daughter; he knew the sacrifices were worth it. Sally knew that she didn't have children, her child was her career. The three arrived for the last elimination challenge. Johnny and Gail explained that the three contestants would have to create a full table of several elements including a bonbon and savory bread.

Sally woke up and realized that she was the last girl standing. She talked to Orlando about missing the girls. Chris talked to his wife and she explained about their baby's surgery which cost almost 50k. The contestants arrived in the kitchen with Gail and Francois Payard. Gail announced that the contestants have to bake the best pie. Francois emphasized making amazing dough. Gail announced a twist: the contestants had to create a one-handed pie. The prize was $5000, one-tenth of Chris' baby surgery. Sally wanted to do plum and strawberry pie and felt like a moron trying to cut food.

The upcoming ninth season of Bravo's reality series Top Chef will feature two new faces on the judging panel.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the judging panel on the new season of the show will feature Emeril Lagasse, who is perhaps one of the most well known chefs in the nation.
