Michael Bay's newest film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, arrived on 4,013 screens this weekend, and earned an incredible $97.4 million from Friday to Sunday.

The HD Room reports that Transformers has earned $162 million in the first five days after its release.

The daily breakdown of ticket sales is as follows: Tuesday night: $5.5 million, Wednesday $37.7 million, Thursday $21.5 million, Friday $33 million, Saturday $34.5 million and Sunday $29.85 million.

Shia LaBeouf gave some inside information on what we will get to see when Transformers 3 hits theaters, including 3-D action, a new cast, and a great storyline.

LaBeouf told reporters backstage at the MTV Movie Awards that Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is “the best movie we’ve made, I’m serious…this is our best installment.”

According to the Associated Press, in regards to the accident on the set of Transformers 3 that resulted in an extra obtaining brain damage, officials say no one will be fined.

The accident was in Indiana, and the state’s officials are proclaiming that they will not fine Paramount Pictures, the studio behind the film, or production crews involved in the newest installment of Transformers.

Producers of the forthcoming Transformers flick will not be held responsible for a stunt that when wrong and left an extra in critical condition, ContactMusic.com has reported.

Safety regulators from the Indiana Occupation Safety and Health Administration (IOSHA) investigating the accident have confirmed that all necessary precautions were in place prior to the incident.

TMZ reports that another stunt accident occurred during filming on Michael Bay’s Transformers 3 in Washington D.C.

This time the accident was between a police car and one of the well- known stars, the stunt car for the robot Bumblebee.

TMZ reports that a by-stander said there was a lot of police activity in the area. It was later reported that the police activity was due to a bomb scare. The police car was part of the Explosives Ordinances Division.

TMZ reported a cable towing a car for a stunt snapped and broke through the windshield of extra Gabriella Cedillo’s car, leaving a piece of metal to slice through her skull. The accident left her completely paralyzed on the left side of her body.

A woman working on the set of Transformers 3 as an extra is currently in an induced coma following an accident on the set. Gabriela Cedillo was injured Wednesday after she was driving through a scene of the film.

According to witnesses, a cable snapped, going through the windshield of the car Cedillo was driving. The cable hit her in the head, causing the 24-year-old to suffer a brain injury.

Last Wednesday, a stunt on the set of Michael Bay’s Transformers 3 went horribly wrong. Gabriella Cedillo, an extra on the film, was driving her car through a scene when a cable snapped and went through the window, hitting her in the head. The car continued moving for nearly a mile before crashing into a concrete banner.
