Selena Gomez served as VMA pre-show co-host Sunday night and along with interviewing Demi Lovato, she also had the job of interviewing none other than her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, who was nominated.

Winehouse will be remembered

Singer Tony Bennett will pay tribute to recently deceased singer Amy Winehouse at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday.

According to Us Magazine, Bennett will introduce video footage of the two at a recording session in March. Bennett recorded “Body and Soul” with Winehouse for his soon-to-be-released album, Duets II.

It looks like this year’s MTV Video Music Awards will have some phenomenal performances. Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and “Rolling in the Deep” songstress Adele have already been announced as performers during the telecast.

According to Reuters, all three performers are up for many awards. Specifically, Adele received seven nominations, and Lil Wayne received three.

In an attempt to undermine her award, he proposed that Beyonce Knowles should have been the winner. The rapper has decreased the amount of public appearances he makes and stays relatively away from the media since that time.
