Sure, it may be the middle of summer, but apparently New Line thinks it's never too early to start thinking about the winter holidays, namely New Year's Eve.

According to Cinema Blend, the studio just released the first trailer for their celeb jam-packed ensemble rom-com, New Year's Eve.

While Zac Efron was crooning his way into the hearts of Disney Channel fans and their moms with the High School Musical franchise, Seth Rogen was banging Katherine Heigl in the raunchy hit, Knocked Up.

Needless to say, make a Venn diagram of their rises to fame and there wouldn't be a whole lot of overlapping in the demographic appeal department. Until now.

Actors Zac Efron and Seth Rogen are teaming up for an R-rated comedy film.

According to reports, Efron has signed on to play a college frat boy who stars opposite Rogen’s character.

Rogen’s average Joe character lives near Efron’s frat house and ends up having his life flipped upside down because of it.

This type of film is a huge step in a different direction for Efron, the heartthrob who starred in the High School Musical movies.
