Laura Kaczor’s latest release, Love Enough, brings a welcome blend of soul, contemporary, pop and light rock to the world of Christian music. It isn’t overly innovative, but the songs are decent and their spiritual themes are powerful enough.

I never thought I’d hear the words Christian music and metal in the same sentence, but that is exactly what the band Stryper is. I was a bit skeptical to hear their music at first because I had no idea how the two could mix, but honestly, I was pleasantly surprised.

Made up of Michael Sweet (vocals/guitar), Oz Fox (guitar), Tim Gaines (bass) and Robert Sweet (drums), Stryper has been making music since 1983.

The band’s new album The Covering is full of 13 tracks – 12 which are classic songs they covered (pun possibly intended?) and one original song entitled “God.”

I received this book while I was dealing with rejection by the church to a calling God put on my heart. I was blocked. On top of that I was dealing with hurt by the attitude of some people. So it was very timely.

It has not only helped me as I've tried to understand why God would call me, men reject me, etc. But I know God understands. The book has helped me draw closer to God and his soveignity.

If we would admit it, not a one of us hasn't asked, "Why Me?", "Why Now?", "Where is God in this?", etc. We may feel worthless and like our hope is slipping away.

The Power of One is an amazing Christian album. Israel Houghton does an excellent job with this one because, as the title suggest, it takes the power of one to deliver the word of God.

"Everywhere I Go" is a song telling people that God is there watching over everyone. Houghton sings, "I belong to you/ and you belong to me Lord/I'm surrounded everywhere that I go/ I am yours/and you are mine," which you can tell that he has a good relationship with the Lord and encourages everyone to do the same.
