With summer around the corner why don't I make a few suggestions for help in turning your backyard into a little oasis?

Ames True Temper has the cutest little cart which folds up for storing, and opens up to carry whatever is necessary. It's basically a metal frame with two wheels with a folding canvas center. The canvas center also can act as a bag to be lifted out and loaded.

It can be a useful place to keep all of the gardening tools. Why go from the storage box to the cart to the garden? Just keep them in the cart.

Oregon Scientific has a few new gadgets that techies and gadget geeks have only dreamed about.

Speaking of dreams, (and waking up from them), the coolest twist on an old favorite is the Philippe Starck Projection Clock. Basically, it looks like a large, illuminated box. Yes, that description works... okay, maybe a post-modern box. Here's the twist, besides being an alarm clock, it has a few other features. First, you can stick a smaller "box" (remote weather sensor) outside of your house, and presto, it tells you the current weather andhumidity and predicts the upcoming weather.

Because it is all-natural, it is safe to use on infants and the elderly. Its active ingredients include citronella, peppermint oil, lemongrass oil, cedar oil and rosemary oil. Needless to say, it smells great. It goes on lightly because it is water based. The only downside is that you need to reapply often.

A simple to use screwdriver/socket set.

Link-ToolsBy Maria SpanadorisIt's odd, but useful. Okay, Link-Tools has basically updated the concept of the screwdriver and socket wrench. I'm not that handy around the house, but there are some things I can figure out. Basically, it looks like a screwdriver, but every part of it that extends just snaps right on.

If you want it to extend a screwdriver to six inches, just snap on an extender. You can wrap corners with a bendable angle by snapping it on. If you need a socket wrench, just snap one on.

For somebody like me, who doesn't do much handiwork, it was really simple.
