Red Mountain Spa

This is the place to change yourself.

Take the class on menopause. I did.

At times, Michael, the assignment editor, has a dark sense of humor. Sending this "old timer" to a health spa was like redoing the statue of David. We are both caste in stone and have not changed in years. David just stands there and looks good, but I agreed to travel eight hours to be redesigned.

Green Valley Spa

Who would go to a spa to relax and yet still hike in the mountains every day?

Attention Readers

As you are probably aware, most of our travel stories are written specifically in a travelogue format made up of a chronological account of the trip. It has a really nice itinerary feel and some readers have mimicked it exactly, event for event. It borders on stalking, but we still consider this a good thing, as it makes people quite happy.

In this case, my original story was getting quite boring as it basically said, "Went to Green Valley Spa and hiked. Had a massage and ate really healthy, yet tasty, food. It was good.

Brian Head Resort

Why should you go skiing in Utah? Our reporter fell in love with the place and has written a love letter about skiiing at Brian Head.

Dear Brian Head,

I just can't get you off of my mind. I love you and I can't hide it. I want to tell everyone I know...

Okay, so I can't write a love letter. But I wish I could. That is how I truly feel about this trip. I think I am in love.

When I heard I was coming to visit, I was nervous. I had never been skiing or taken part in any winter activity. I was afraid I would make a mistake, or not be prepared. I thought my New York attitude and wardrobe would make me stick out like a sore thumb.

I was dead wrong.
