It's hard to file this under purely metal as the album also has a driving beat a'la Tool and Alice in Chains. It's a bit loud, a bit driving, but overall, a much neater, cleaner and well produced production then most music in this genre that we've heard. N?-metal usually has a bad rap of sounding ugly and muddled after a while, but the production on this is top notch.
