Lyle Lovett - Smile
- Lyle must be one of the most unique singers in music today. While the Texas-born came into music with country, this album shows that if it's music, he can cover it. On Smile, he chose songs from his favorite movies, and ended up with quite an eclectic collection. Popular songs, like "You've Got a Friend in Me," from Toy Story, to standards like, "Summer Wind." But the real treat is hearing him do songs you might not have heard before, like from movies such as "Kissing Jessica Stein" and "Leap of Faith." Overall a keeper.
