The king of bluegrass, Bill Monroe, influenced countless country artists today. There is nothing revealing, scandalous or radical on this tribute, but a good, honest tribute to Bill Monroe. Some tribute records have interpretations of the songs, which are so far off the mark that they sound nothing like the original artist.
