- Boston is back. Classic Rock of the 70s is now in the 2000s. But how does it sound? It sounds like Boston. Boston had a sound which made it unique to the 70s. People could tell a Boston song with their orchestral sweeping guitars. The only difference here is that the band is even more socially conscious. Songs are about corporate America, vegetarianism and generally saving the world.
