John Lee Hooker - Face to Face
- John Lee Hooker's last album. The statement alone gives you chills. He was recording this with his daughter, singer Zakiya and while recording, he passed away. Zakiya, worked with producer Ollan Christopher, and produced this work. The result is a blues album which is completely timeless. All of the tracks sound like you'd hear them in a local bar or a club. They're not overly produced, but completely raw and natural.
