A great but odd album. Great as Early Slick is a great album and this completely showcases his work. Odd in that you're expecting to hear vocals kick in during half of the tracks. On some tracks he has guest vocals from the likes of David Boie and Martha Davis, but on others, they're absent of vocals completely. It leaves you wondering are vocals necessary for a song or can it stand alone on just the guitar work.
