Beat Generation - Self Titled
- There is a fine line between Beat and Rap. To some it's a very clear line, but in this compilation they make the line a bit wider. They start Beat off with Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg. The compliation has one track from Allen Ginsberg, but the rest are DJ Jazzy Jeff, Pete Rock and other DJs. Overall, it's a great illustration of rap as poetry.
