Black 47 - New York Town
- The album has an overall Irish feel (of course, coming from an Irish American Musical Icon), but what makes it unique the album is all about New York. Not simply dedicated to New York, but a completely themed album akin to Sgt. Pepper. Each song tells a story from Queens' Queens Boulevard to each of the five boroughs. Songs like "Staten Island Babyö feature David Johansen (a.k.a. Buster Pointdexter), Fiona's Song features Rosanne Cashà well, you get the idea. In addition, you have the story of Father Mychal Judge, chaplain of the NYFD who died on 9-11.

All of the songs are stories, interwoven and talking about New York. Not as a distant place, but as a tangible real place painted with the same story telling as any poet.
