Q People: A Tribute to Nrbq - Self Titled
- Who the hell is NRBQ and why is there a tribute album to them? That must be your first question if you've not heard of them, which the odds are you've not. Then you open this album and get even more confused. Why would Penn Jillette of Penn & Teller fame write the linear notes? Why would the linear notes show that REM, Bonnie Raitt, Los Lobos, Yo La Tengo and many others worked on this tribute album? Okay, there's more questions, like, why did Spongebob Squarepants record a 17 minute audio skit for NRBQ. The answers come to you when you hear the album and you slowly and surely become a fan
