Self Titled

New Soul Orchestra sounds like it was made in the 70s with a soul sound that you'd swear was recorded back then. To really throw you, Michael Miller is not exactly the most "soulful? looking man, but then you hear him and you evoke thoughts of a cross of the Bee Gees and Earth, Wind and Fire. It's made up of a 13 piece group that creates a sound which recreates an era.

Certain tracks sound like they were definitely made 30 years ago. For example, "You Left Too Soon? really sounds like it was made right in the 70s. The funky bass with the higher pitched, "Bee Gees? vocals you really want to walk like John Travolta. Other tracks have somewhat of a more modern, Kyle Minogue/George Michael disco feel but they do all sound completely like they really are masters of soul.

This is the type of band that must sound incredible live!
