Alan Silvestri - Van Helsing
- The first blockbuster of the 2004 summer season is Van Helsing. The film reunites The Mummy director Stephen Sommers with composer Alan Silvestri. Soundtrack fans will be happy to welcome back Silvestri to the action genre, after a considerable absence. Some of the best tracks are the dark waltz "All Hallow's Eve Ball" and the guitar strumming "Journey to Transylvania." Listen closely for the exciting hero theme, which doesn't appear until a few tracks into the album. Van Helsing is a treat and an exciting score to start off a promising summer.
