Gabriel Gordon - Gypsy Living
- Picture John Mayer with a soulful voice and there you have Gabriel Gordon. The subject matter isn’t about the angst of growing up, but of the "Gypsy Living" of touring with Natalie Merchant. What’s most amazing is to listen to this album twice. The first time you listen for fun, and the second time you listen while keeping his notes in mind. For example, "Watch the Sky" was written while he was touring in Maine; "Easy with You" was in Rome; and, then you have France, Brooklyn, San Francisco, etc., etc. Matching the songs with that gypsy concept makes them even more interesting.
